What Happens if My Assigned Roommate Never Moves In?

There are three options: 

- The student may pay for a private room based on availability, no earlier than the first Friday of the semester. 

- The student may find a roommate within the consolidation period. 

- The University may assign a roommate at the student's request. 

Students who ignore the process or decline to seek a roommate will be notified at the conclusion of the consolidation period that they will be charged for a private room, if available, or the Residence Life staff will provide them with a roommate from the list.
